DESCRIPTION:Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Coffee Mornings for parents and carers of children with SEND\n\n\nBristol Parent Carer Forum hosts coffee mornings from schools for parent carers of children and young adults that have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). \nThere is no need to book but if you can\, that is helpful. Please come along for a chat with our volunteers and other families who “get it”.  We are happy to talk through any problems or issues you are facing over a nice cup of tea (or coffee!) and you can find out more information on what support is available locally for your child or a child you care for. \nIf you need additional support to access this coffee morning such as support with English or other adjustments\, please let us know. \nAn important role of the Parent Carer Forum is to hear about the experiences of parent carers in Bristol. We would like to hear from you about your experiences with SEND services so that we can be sure that your voice is heard and that we can shape the future of SEND services together.

DESCRIPTION:Join ERIC for this support session on toileting for SEND children and young people\n\n\nWelcome to Toileting support for children and young people with SEND \nJoin ERIC on Tuesday 13th January at 7PM. \nIn this session we will explore how the bowel works\, what can go wrong and what to do about it. An essential first step towards potty training your toddler or toilet training an older child. \nIn this session\, ERIC will cover: \n\nRecognising constipation\, and the importance of treatment\, as well as working towards getting the poo in the loo.\nHow to use our knowledge of how the bladder and bowel work to shape toileting programmes.\nChildren’s individual needs enabling you to personalise the programme\, and maximise the chances of success.\nAnd much more!\n\nYou will need to register on Eric’s zoom registration page to receive the zoom link for the session. \n\n1 day before the event you will receive an email from Eventbrite with the zoom link\, please click the link.\nThe link will direct you to the zoom register\, please fill in your details. You must also have a child with Special Educational Needs\, but they do not need to have a diagnosis.
