DESCRIPTION:A brief and informal chat to talk about the work we do\, the role of our volunteers and how you can help!\n\n\nThinking about volunteering with Bristol Parent Carers? \nCome along to this friendly information session to find out more about who we are\, what we do\, and how you could get involved. Volunteering is flexible and can be tailored around your family\, interests and availability. It’s a great opportunity to: \n\nMeet other parent carers who understand your experiences.\nMake a real difference to services for families across Bristol.\nShare your experiences to help shape support for other families.\nDevelop new skills and build your confidence.\nGain training\, experience and references that can support future employment or further volunteering.\nBuild experience in areas such as peer support\, events\, engagement\, administration\, communications and co-production.\nVolunteer in a way that works for you – whether that’s a few hours occasionally or something more regular.\n\nWe’ll also cover: \n\nWho Bristol Parent Carers works with.\nThe different volunteer roles available.\nThe time commitment involved (we’re flexible!).\n\nTo volunteer with us\, you must be a parent or carer of a child or young person aged 0–25 with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)\, and either live in Bristol or have a child who accesses Bristol services (for example\, attends a Bristol school). \nClick ‘Follow’ here to keep up to date with our latest events and opportunities:https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/bristol-parent-carers-7809612275
