DESCRIPTION:Join Bristol Parent Carers and Anna Chimenti as we explore speech and language development in your Pre-school or Primay school aged child\n\n\nWelcome to Developing your pre-school and primary aged child’s language skills through every day conversations \nJoin Bristol Parent Carers and Anna Chimenti from All Join In Speech and Language Therapy at St Anne’s House in the Pulp room\, on Thursday 26th February at 10AM \nOur in person sessions are a great way to connect with other parent carers in a relaxed and welcoming space. We’ll have tea\, coffee\, biscuits and fruit available — so come along\, have a cuppa\, and take some time for you while getting helpful information and support. \nIn this session we will explore language development in pre-school and Primary school aged children. \nIn this session we will cover: \n\nDefining speech vs language vs social communication\nIdentifying your child’s strength and where they may need support\nBasic principles of child-led language teaching\nSpecific strategies parents can use at home wiith a focus on expanding vocabulary\nQ&As and much more!\n\nLunch and refreshments will be provided – please submit your dietary requirements using this form Please submit your questions no later than one week before the event to give the caterers time to prepare. \nPlaces are free\, but if you’re able to make a small donation to help us continue offering free sessions to as many families as possible\, we’d be incredibly grateful. \n*Please note\, to attend this session for free you must live in Bristol (your bin will be collected by Bristol City Council)\, or your child must attend a school in the Bristol city area. You must also have a child with Special Educational Needs\, but they do not need to have a diagnosis.
