*NEW* Family Travel Scheme
Bristol City Council has reviewed how it will change Short Breaks funding to meet increasing demands. As a result, the decision has been made to reduce the funding to the Short Breaks Transport Scheme, and ensure the reduced funds are concentrated on helping the most isolated families.
From 1st April, the Short Breaks Transport Scheme will cease operating. Instead we are launching a new Family Travel Scheme. As the pot of money available is smaller, there now needs to be Eligibility Criteria (click here to read), and some charges. We have worked long and hard with the Council to finalise these, and many organisations that arrange activities are now responsible for transport. They may still use our service, or they make their own arrangement, so if this is for transport to an arranged activity in Bristol, please contact the organisers first.
