I can make it
Disability Rights UK
“ I can make it “ is an exciting new campaign by Disability Rights UK which aims to reduce the gap in employment between disabled people and non disabled people. We are urgently looking for 12 passionate, committed and engaging young disabled people aged 18-25 who live in in the following cities : Birmingham, Bristol, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton and Sheffield.
The aim is to recruit young people to volunteer a day a week for the duration of the project alongside other disabled people both in person and online. As part of this campaign, volunteers will receive training, develop useful skills such as customer service, negotiation and presenting skills and knowledge of the business and local government sectors. They will get a chance to meet with interesting and diverse people. FFI Download the PDF flyer.
