EBSA Support Coffee Morning with Bristol Parent Carers
We host coffee mornings in North Bristol for parent carers of children and young adults that have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This coffee morning will focus on Emotionally Based School Avoidance (also known as School Refusal), where you can connect with other parent carers in a similar situation, learn about the full range of support options and get support and information for your family.
`There is no need to book, please just come along for a chat with our reps and other families who “get it”. We are happy to talk through any problems or issues you are facing over a nice cup of tea (or coffee!). If you need to bring your child or young person that’s OK and we will have a few things to keep them amused.
An important role of the Parent Carer Forum is to hear about the experiences of parent carers in Bristol. We would like to hear from you about your experiences with SEND services so that we can be sure that your voice is heard so that we can shape the future of SEND services together.
