Repairing the fractured relationship with SEND services

The Bristol SEND reinspection showed improvement in four out of five areas, but fractured relationships with families remain.

We gathered ideas from parent carers to help shape and inform an action plan for the Department for Education (DfE) and SEND services to help repair this relationship. We have compiled these thoughts into a report, along with the next steps that parent carers would like to see SEND services take.

The final action plan will be completed in the next few weeks by the DfE and SEND services. We look forward to this plan’s positive impact and shaping the future together.
