Resource Bases are specialist classrooms or units within mainstream schools. They support children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who need extra or different help. Children usually spend at least part of the day learning in the Resource Base and are supported by specialist staff. You can find out more about Bristol’s Resource Bases on this page of our website.

We would like to invite you to our online session on Wednesday 13th May where we will be joined by Hilary Evans who leads the SEND Team in Bristol, and Gabrielle Stacey who is leading a city-wide review of Resource Bases. Hilary will talk about our local Resource Bases and future plans for the city. Bristol Parent Carers will then lead a discussion where we will hear your views.
