Description
Peer support brings together parents and carers who have lived experience of navigating SEND, offering understanding, shared learning, and practical support. It creates space to talk openly, learn from others who have been there, and feel less alone when things feel confusing or overwhelming.
In this session, you’ll hear about local peer support and meet the services involved. You can get information directly from both peer supporters and service teams, ask questions, and then, if you choose, visit those services on the same day to find out more. The session is designed to help you understand what support is available and how peer support and services can work alongside each other.
