28 September–4 October 2026
Making education more inclusive
This week, we are joining regional discussions about why some children lose access to learning. Anxiety, health difficulties, unmet needs and a lack of suitable support can all affect attendance.
We are also helping to shape Bristol’s attendance campaign. We want it to recognise the barriers faced by children with SEND, listen to families and encourage support without blame.
Tell us about transitions
Our Term 1 Parent Voice topic is transitions – including moving class, school or college, preparing for adulthood and moving between services.
What helped your child? What caused worry? What do you wish services had understood? We bring together families’ experiences and raise the shared themes without naming anyone.
