Soumia is a proud mother and a qualified Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA). Her personal experiences as a parent carer have strengthened her passion for supporting children with additional needs and their families.

She has worked as a community researcher at SS Great Britain and has always been actively involved in community work. As Chair of an organisation supporting women and families in North Bristol, Soumia is committed to promoting inclusion, empowering people from all backgrounds, and helping families access the support they need.

She is passionate about bringing people together, ensuring voices are heard, and creating positive change within the community.
