Rachel is a freelance Archivist and Digital Engagement Consultant. She currently works for the artist Richard Long and was the Digital Engagement Officer for South West Museum Development for four years (2019-2023) delivering bespoke training, one to one consultations and providing strategic digital guidance to museums within the South West. 

Prior to these roles Rachel has delivered multiple cultural projects across the South West and has worked in libraries and archives in the UK, Venice and New York. 

Rachel lives in Bristol and has a 4 year old son who has sensory processing differences and who is also on the waitlist for possible further diagnosis. In 2023 she became freelance to strike a positive work / life / parenting balance. Having accessed support from Bristol Parent Carers she is now keen to contribute to the community as a Trustee.
