Thank you so much to everyone who was able to join the Support Mapping Coproduction Session for Parent Carers on 19th January 2021, lots of parent carers joined us and it was a very constructive session.
The session was designed to enable parent carers to tell us about the support they know of that is available for parent carers (i.e. what there is, where it is, who it is for, is it what they need? etc.), so that in partnership with commissioners, this information can begin to be used to begin to map out what current support for parent carers looks like and where there may be gaps. By understanding what is available, and what may make the greatest difference to parent carers, we can inform how available budgets are best used to help meet the needs of parent carers.
