Introduction
Families often tell us they are not sure what support is available for children and young people who think, learn, communicate or experience the world differently.
To help, Bristol Parent Carers, North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together and South Gloucestershire Parents and Carers worked together with Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) to create this guide.
The overview brings together information about health services, school support, emotional wellbeing support, peer support and other sources of help available across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
We hope it helps you understand what support is available and where to go for help.
If these services are not working as you would expect, please let us know. We work with local services to help make things better for families. We can only do that if we hear about your experiences, both good and bad.
