This survey aims to collect the views of parent carers whose children have special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND) and attend a for profit/private or independent school. Bristol is leading a consortium of councils who are developing a framework which will enable us to purchase these placements whilst complying with procurement regulations. The framework will give councils an opportunity to improve the quality of providers, where this is needed. Therefore, this survey focuses on what parent carers like about their child’s current placement and what they would like to improve.
