Short Breaks update

Following feedback from our At Home Participation meeting on Special Schools Short Breaks, the Short Breaks team in Bristol have organised sessions for the Easter break (7th – 9th April and 14th – 16th April) with an exciting mixture of fun activities for disabled children and young people for example sensory play, drama, arts and crafts and more, in various locations around Bristol.
The provision is designed for those with complex needs, who need higher staffing ratios.

The activities will have high staff ratios and staff will be trained to support complex needs. All venues have been risk assessed to make sure that the young people are safe and secure. Places are limited and will be given to those who are in most need of support.
